Poor Connor Boy!!!

Today has been a whirlwind of a day. I received a call from the school saying that Connor has been hit in the mouth by a baseball bat and I need to come down. Myra and the secretary was in the nurses office taking care of him until I arrived. His mouth as bleeding pretty bad and his bottom teeth were pretty much just hanging there. I met Joe at the dentist office and he took him to see Dr. Christensen. The doctor took and x-ray of his mouth...none of the teeth were broken, just 7 of them were knocked loose. He was able to put the teeth back in place without any sedative or shots....which is great for Connor! Connor has a hard time when you even mention the word "doctor". We have to keep gauze in his mouth to keep the teeth pushed forward and then we will see the doc tomorrow at 4:30. Connor can't eat any hard foods for a week and just stuck to a strict liquid diet. Myra brought over some balloons and a big envelope of cards Connor's class made for him. That was so sweet. We hope Connor will recover soon and rest today and all day tomorrow.
