Ky being in 4th grade had to participate in the school track meet. He had to do at least two events and one of them had to be running. Ky signed up for the 100M dash, 200M dash, softball throw, and long jump. Needless to say...Ky isn't a fast and long distant runner. We are proud of him for doing things he knows he isn't good at. It was really fun to watch and video tape...until the camera decided to shut off in the middle of the race. I only took pics of him doing the long jump since I was video taping him running. Ky came in 6th on both of his races which to him was better than last. It was fun for me to go over and spend a sunny morning watching the school participate in their events. Good Job Ky!
way to go ky! it's good to do things you're not good at...like me with running. it pushes you out of your comfort zone. good job!
